   I've been using fountain pens for years. Tend to write with just fountain pens. I have expensive pens and not-so-expensive pens. This pen falls into the latter category but you'd think it was in the more expensive category. I bought the bamboo pen and love the feel of it in my hand. The weight is perfect, though it's a little heavy posted. Since the length is generous, I use it unposted and I'm perfectly happy using it that way. I honestly can't say enough about this pen but will sum it up by going back to the heading...great pen, great value.

   I am very satisfied with the craftsmanship of this pen, and the accompanying box. It's beautiful, feels nice in my hand, and writes smoothly. I was concerned after reading some previous reviews, but I needn't have worried. I have had no problems loading ink, snapping the pen cap on, or with blotchy writing. I think this is a lovely pen, and at a decent price. I was also impressed with the company's follow up to ensure complete satisfaction. Customer service is something that seems to be lacking from a lot of places these days, so I very much appreciate exceptional customer service when I receive it. I will do business with Dryden again. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

   First off, make sure you use fountain pen ink and not india ink. That is important. Saying this, I will add that with the right ink, this has become the best writing and often drawing pen I've ever had. Forget more expensive ballpoints, use this and you'll never go back to anything else. It feels fancy but not difficult. It writes smooth and steady. I have no complaints with this pen and highly recommend it. I used the bamboo version.

   What can I say a Genuine quality product that is backed by Excellent customer service in a friendly manner. I have bought several of these writing utensils and am 100% happy with them. Hey, I dropped 1 of my pens and the company was right there to make it right for me in a very timely manner and I could not be happier with both the company and the service I received from SARAH at Dryden.

   For many years I was an avid fountain pen user. I got away from it 20 years ago or so when I dropped my Waterman Pen smack dab on the nib, destroying the nib. I have been using this Dryden pen now for about six weeks and my love for fountain pens has returned! A fountain pen takes a little while to "adjust" to your writing style. The nib effectively gets worn in to the angle that you hold the pen to the paper. I cannot believe how well this pen writes. Especially when the price is considered!! I highly, highly recommend this pen!

   This is a very attractive instrument. I got the version with a rosewood barrel because it looks so good. For such a nice-looking and well-made pen, it didn't cost all that much. It is quite a step up from using cheap, throw-away ball points.
