I would've stuck to just the old fashion comb if I didnt have 4 kids infested non stop with super lice.. gotta love elementary school. Never mind the fact that it's an unbelievable pain to comb your own super thick, down to your bum hair, when the loving crotch fruit share their pesky bugs with you. It may pull your hair occasionally.. Still worth the pleasure of getting rid of the relentless little bastards that plague you and your children's hair. However, I have no doubt that the .50 hooker down at the truck stop has more sucking power than this little bugger. It is no doubt great at sucking up most of the lice but has a tendency to leave newly orphaned eggs behind. You'll still need that handy comb for a few late term abortions and evictions.

Our kids daycare seems to have a new lice breakout every few months, and this comb has been awesome. Last night found out my daughter had lice again. Used the comb quickly and easily on her dry hair, no chemicals needed. The comb sucked up eggs,nits, and live lice which can be visualized easily in the catch filter. The next day I did a traditional chemical treatment and wet comb-out to make sure nothing was missed. It took much longer and I found only 3 missed eggs on her whole head. Probably would have gotten those with another run-through with the v-comb instead, but I wanted to see which was more effective. Anyway, I love this little gadget and it's been a worthwhile purchase with 3 kiddos in school and daycare. I no longer have to freak out and run to the drugstore if I hear there is another lice exposure, I just pull this out of the cabinet and do a quick comb-out with it, repeat for a day or two to be on the safe side, and good to go!

Will recommend to anyone with a lice problem, it gets the eggs and bugs out. If you are having a lice problem soak the hair in rubbing alcohol ,wrap with a bag or whatever for ten minutes, eats the egg glue and kills them all!

I have never dealt with Lice ever, I purchased the V-Comb when I decided enough is enough. Four days of natural remedies that didn't do anything and medicated shampoo, which also, DID NOTHING, I combed, I smothered these buggers I tried to kill them with everything I could think of. I followed all the treatments I found online and to no avail.. I got my V-Comb within 24 hours of ordering it and used it for the first time last night. I pulled out maybe 30 bugs on my two kids combined the first session and then did it again and pulled about maybe 8 or so.. This morning I did it two more times on each of them and got less and less each time I did it. Hopefully one more session on each and they will be eradicated. It is uncomfortable on them so I have to give their scalp a break between sessions. But this momma is satisfied. Thank you creators of V-Comb.. Truly a great product. Of course it would be even greater if their was no discomfort but that's a bit much to ask. Still happy!

We used the shampoo products and the lice comb, and thought that we were doing a good job. And then we got this! It removed more nits than we were getting with the comb. I'm convinced that if we hadn't gotten this product than our lice problem would not have been cleared up. It got nits that the comb wasn't capturing.
