This is a dog’s dream come true! This machine comes fully assembled and is very easy to work. You can use batteries and take it with you to the dog park or you can plug it in and use it at home. The plug is rather short so unless you have a perfectly placed outlet you will need an extension cord. It has a toggle switch and a knob. The toggle switch activated the safety sound feature. This beeps prior to launching the ball. For my dog she quickly learned that the beep means ball and she gets very excited at the sound of the beep. The knob is how you turn it on and off and adjust how far you want the ball to go. I constantly move it around to keep my dog guessing. It is very easy to use and even my 6 and 9 year old have can work it. It works great for them because it can throw it much further than they can. I am not sure who has more fun with it the kids or the dog.

My dogs loved this. I like that it has settings that allow it to be thrown softer or harder. The softest throw and even turning it up to around 10% hard is fantastic for in the house. We have yet to turn it all the way up. Maybe after this week of snow storms. When we do, I'll update this review. We had this on about 10% and my most timid dog unfortunately stuck her face in the way and got a faceful of ball. It didn't hurt so bad that she cried out but she was definitely more leary of the launcher after that. She also isn't crazy about playing fetch and that ended the excitement for her, so be careful of the dog getting in the way.

My husband is super excited about taking this to the park. We have a battery pack that is compatible, otherwise, this wouldn't work outside without an outlet and possibly an extension cord.

This ball launcher is a lot of fun! I think my kids and I had more fun with it than the dog did. You just plug it in, adjust the dial to how far you want it to throw the ball, and drop the ball in the shoot. It makes a beeping sound to warn that it's about to spit out the ball. It launches the ball pretty far! Our dog kept getting the ball but she just dropped it for us to put it in the machine, she hasn't figured out how to put it in herself yet. It comes with one tennis ball to get you started but it will shoot any standard tennis ball. If you don't have anywhere to plug it in outside, it can go on batteries but it takes 8 D's.

My dog loves this. I only wish there was a way to trigger the power when the ball gets dropped in the funnel (I’m trying to train her to put it back in the funnel so she can use it without me all the time). Instead there’s a power switch that also adjusts the ball speed.

All in all, my dog enjoys it a lot. It’s a great way to give her some exercise.

Tried this on a puppy. The dog loves it but still does not know how to load the machine herself. I've watched videos where dogs learn how to entertain themselves with this toy and I hope that happens here (super hyper dog). We need to buy more tennis balls to really get full use out of this.
