It is a game-changer having an electric door for the coop. This has been installed for about two weeks and so far it’s running very well. Gives the chickens plenty of room to wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night, so none is left outside the gate. There was no transition. I adjusted very quickly. We weren’t sure that the doors lined up well but it seems to be working beautifully, and we’ve had several severe rainstorms. Having a battery feature rather than having to hardwire it is definitely a plus so far we’re very happy.
