People find it creepy - that's a good sign. The pattern looks daunting, but don't be put off by it. It's not too bad. Yes, there are a lot of pieces to keep track of but, that all part of the process. The video gives you hints on how to manage it. I was heartened by the reviewer who said he made it in 3 days... so I made mine in 2. ;-) One day to cut and mold the pieces, another to burnish and sew. The leather I chose to use was nearly half the weight of what was called for, and I "aged" the leather instead of dyeing it. (Burnished the surface with a felt bit on a Dremel.) If one is proficient in tooling, I think it would add dimension to the finished product.

It is basically a cropped flat figure that has been added an eva rubber tail (very rigid) surrounded by rings that simulate tail segments. (cylindrical from beginning to end) There's No nose hole.
