   I gave the overall rating a 5 because its a quality product. This clock probably works well indoors, I chose to use it outdoors in a covered area. It is difficult to impossible read the time in daylight if you are a few feet away. The casing is white and the numbers are very light blue (almost white). I took the clock apart and painted the casing black, this helped a bit but not enough. Quality product but does not work well in my environment. Red LEDs would probably make a huge difference.

   Not only serves as a readable clock with rechargeable battery backup, it also is a night light. I love that it uses military time. Readable from across the room. Loved to get one for the church.

   This clock was everything i hoped for !! The brightness was just enough and there are so many options you can do on this clock. I will admit it was a bit pricy for me but I loved it afterwards! I would recommend setting the brightness to just 01 if you prefer a dark sleeping environment. The clock has woke me up lots of times during the night even though I set it to 01 brightness (picture above) But other than that, everything else was perfect! Easy installation and long wires.

   I'm satisfied with this little gizmo. I bought the version with the blue numerals and black frame to use as a clock/nightlight for a bathroom, and it works fine for that. I turned on the day/night brightness setting (which by default dims the display from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., but can be set to whatever times the user wants). It comes with a standard CR2032 battery to use as battery backup; while on battery the display will be blank but it will keep track of the time for when power comes back. On the downside, it came with a USB cable but no USB AC adapter, so you will have to provide your own.

   This is a really cool looking clock when the lights are low in my home studio (aka guest bedroom lol). Like many of the reviews say, it's very bright even at its lowest settings. This doesn't bother me. I just wanted a dope clock!
